Sexpot Gary Johnson Announces His Candidacy For President

Oops, the title should read "Libertarian Gary Johnson Announces His Candidacy For President". I didn't change it because the "error" is intentional. I got it "wrong" on purpose as an attention grabber. Not that I think calling Johnson a "sexpot" is inaccurate, given the fact that the definition of sexpot is "a sexually attractive person".

Yeah, I've only ever heard this term applied to women, but in Gary Johnson's case I think it is very fitting. I mean, who the hell would deny that Gary Johnson is a incredibly sexy man? Not me, that's for sure.

In any case, the point of this post is to speak of Gary Johnson's announcement that he's running for president. Something he announced on 1/6/2016. Which was more than a month ago. But I didn't miss it. I just didn't blog about it here. Because, despite me saying that "Gary Johnson is Dreamy" was not abandoned, it actually was (and I knew I was abandoning it at the time... meaning I lied).

In any case (again), GJID has now been reopened and there will be a flurry of activity. By which I mean MANY commentaries will be authored concerning GJ once again throwing his hat into the POTUS ring. Now, realistically, Johnson will have about as much chance of being elected president as a snow ball forming in the Mojave desert at high noon.

It will, however, be refreshing to hear a candidate that has different and reasoned ideas without the hyperbole and general BS the rEpublican party candidates are offering. Not that much different, to be honest, however. Both rEpublicans and Libertarians want to accelerate the transfer of wealth from the middle and lower classes UP to the more deserving classes.

And, obviously, because I support Johnson I'm onboard with this agenda. What makes Johnson different from the rEpublicans is that Johnson believes government should get out of the way and allow the plutocrats to rape and pillage. The Republicans, on the other hand, think that the raping and pillaging the plutocrats do should be a joint venture. The wealthy and government rulers should be partners, in other words.

Gary Johnson says no to this partnership. Gary, as a Libertarian, asks why the hell should the plutocrats split the profits gained by bilking and exploiting the less deserving classes? Gary Johnson is, BTW, a self-made millionaire who wants to be president so he can look out for the interests of other millionaires.

And, is there anything wrong with that? Lying Lester says no. Lying Lester also says that, while GJ's chances of getting elected to the WH are low, it isn't 100 percent inconceivable that he could be our next president. Perhaps only 99.9 percent inconceivable. But that means he has a .1 percent chance. Which is better than no chance.

We can hope the media doesn't ignore Johnson, all the while knowing it will. Why? I don't have a clue. Frankly it baffles Lying Lester's imagination. Big media personalities are rich, after all. Don't they want someone who's on their side looking out for their interests?

Not that the rEpublicans aren't looking out for the interests of the wealthy. They are. But the way they go about it is almost all wrong. The BEST way to look out for the interests of the wealthy is to let the wealthy look out for their own interests. The only thing they REALLY need is a president (and cooperative Congress) that wants to shrink government. Get it out of the way so the wealthy can prosper wildly.

Not that they aren't prospering wildly already, but GJ knows they can prosper even more wildly. And isn't that something we all want? I'd hope so, but if that were true more of the populace would be Libertarian, which they obviously aren't. The reason for that, I think, is that so many people are incredibly greedy. They want what rich people have, and want to use government to take it from them.

Bernie Sanders is promising to do even more of this. "This" being stealing from the Makers to give to the Takers. Sanders, the avowed democratic socialist, turns off as many civil libertarians as he excites, why? His economic socialism.

Anyway, I continue to like Johnson due to the fact that he has (in my view) good sense and the plutocrat's best interests in mind. Eh. This is why both cOnservatives and pRogressives ignore him.

Byline: This gary-tastic commentary was authored by Lord Lying Lester, purveyor of johnsoning. GJID-14.
